Nina. It means "little girl".

The other day I was talking with Otis about how someone's name can really define who they are. Take for example my name, Nina: little girl. For those of you who really, really know me, you know that I am a little girl at heart. I have this bubbly, innocent personality. I can see the world with children's eyes. As I grew up I started to hide that little girl, thinking I needed to show others I was mature. But now I understand there's a balance. I can be mature and an adult, yet see this world with the eyes of a little girl. To me, keeping that little girl in my heart is very important. It means that I will always be innocent in some senses, it means I can always be soft and gentle and cuddly, it means I can act silly, bright eyed and busy-tailed! And it means I can be free at home to dance, shake my tail feathers and sing as loud as I want to--which I defintely do! A lot. Like, weekly. Heehee. It means, I can have faith like a child. It means my Abba Father will always be an Abba Father to me.
When I explained all of this to Otis he realized that's why I always ask "Why?" or "How come?", just like kids do! It actually started to make some things click for him, in regards to our relationship.
So I'm asking you, what connection do you see in your name and your personality? What things can you learn about yourself, from yourself? Think about it, discuss it with someone significant in your life, or with us! Start discovering who you, as a woman, are.
~Love~
